Sulky Totally Stable

This is the stabilizer I use when I embroider T-shirts and other stretchy fabrics. You iron it to the back of your fabric so that it keeps it from stretching when you put it in a hoop fo embroidery. Embroider right through the fabric and the stabilizer. When you're done you gently peel away the stabilizer - it doesn't leave any residue behind.

On very detailed pieces I often only tear away the excess stabilizer around the edges of my embroidery - leaving the stabilizer behind the actual stitches. It softens beautifully in the wash and is not itchy at all.
