Safari Quilt - 12 block patterns and complete applique workshop

I designed the Safari Quilt especially to teach people how to applique. The blocks are nice and big for easy handling, and include complete instructions with loads of step by step photos to teach you an easy (and fast) machine applique technique. You'll start with the easiest blocks (all convex curves) and work your way through a series of twelve patterns, each building on the skills already learned. By the time you've finished the quilt you'll have mastered convex curves, notches, concave curves, and points - everything you need to tackle just about any applique pattern.

The finished quilt is 62 inches wide x 78 inches tall. That's a twin size quilt with no pillow tuck and a shortish drop on each side. I include instructions for adding a custom border if you want a longer drop - especially nice if your mattress is an extra-tall pillowtop.
