Floss-a-Way Embroidery Floss Bags

These are what I use to organize my embroidery thread. They're small ziplock bags (5" x 3") with a white space for writing the thread number and a hole punched in the corner. The pack comes with one binder ring to hold all the bags in one place, but I use additional rings (available at any office supply store) - one for each color family (red, orange, yellow, etc.).

When I start a new embroidery project, I choose all the colors I want to use, pull those bags off of their rings, and put them together onto one "project ring." That makes it really easy to keep everything for a project together, especially since I schlepp my embroidery wherever I go. :-)

In this pack you'll get 36 baggies and one ring. That's enough to hold all of the thread in my Big Thread Bundle and still have 12 bags left over to hold your additional favorite colors.
